KB: Test Connection is failing with Error code -1 Value cannot be null

You just updated the Oracle management pack with the latest release and during a connection test you get this error.

Problem:

You execute an test connection and you get the Error -1

Investigation:

This could happen due to that the scom console is using a old version of the Oracle configuration dashboard from of the cache.

Solution:

Open the NT services control panel and restart the NT service "System Center Data Access Service" 

After the restart wait 1 minute and retry the test connection. The problem is resolved.
