From 1 January 2020, our company bank, ABN AMRO will stop the processing of cheques in the Netherlands.

Why will ABN AMRO no longer be processing cheques?

The use of cheques has fallen sharply in recent years. As a result, fewer and fewer customers are cashing them. Processing is done manually and is relatively time-consuming. Moreover, cheques are susceptible to fraud.
