System requirements for the VMware MP
What you need on your SCOM management or gateway server to run the VMware Management Pack.

To install the VMware Management Pack, you need:
- A System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) management server or gateway server.
- .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later on that server.
The management pack doesn't need an agent on your vCenter server. It monitors vCenter through its API from the management or gateway server.
