What permissions are needed in vCenter / ESXi?
The VMware Management Pack only needs a read-only account in vCenter or on your ESXi hosts.

The VMware Management Pack only needs an account with read-only permissions in your vCenter or ESXi environment. Give the account:
- The Read-only role (or a clone of it), assigned at the top level with Propagate to children turned on.
- The Validate session privilege.
If you use the OpsLogix IMP - VMware Appliance Monitoring management pack, also add the account to the SystemConfiguration.Administrators group in vCenter.
